This policy explains how Lolly's Cleaning handles personal information. It applies to this website and to enquiries made by phone, text message or WhatsApp.

Registered office: 13 Belmont Street, Manchester M16 9JW.
Trading name: Lolly's Cleaning.

The information we collect
We collect information you give us when you ask for a quote or book a clean, including:
- your name
- phone number and, if you use it, WhatsApp number
- email address, if you write to us
- the address of the home, office or school to be cleaned
- details of the rooms and how often you want the work done
- messages you send by SMS or WhatsApp
- call records at a basic level (number, time and duration), where our phone provider stores them
If you telephone, text or message us, we hold what you send so we can reply and carry out the work.
How we use it
We use this information to:
- answer quotes and book cleaning visits
- travel to the right address and clean the rooms you asked for
- send times, prices and follow-up messages by call, SMS or WhatsApp
- keep a short record of work done, invoices and payments
- meet legal duties such as tax and accounting
We do not sell your information. We do not use it to send bulk marketing unless you have asked us to keep you informed about your own bookings.
Lawful basis (UK GDPR)
We process personal information under the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018. The bases we rely on are:
- Contract - to provide a quote, agree a booking and carry out the clean you asked for
- Legitimate interests - to reply to enquiries, keep basic business records and run the company
- Legal obligation - where tax, accounting or other law requires us to keep records
Who we share it with
We only share information where it is needed to run the service, for example:
- our phone, WhatsApp and email providers, who carry the messages you send
- our website host, which stores this site
- an accountant or bookkeeper, for invoices and tax
- the police or a regulator, if the law requires it
WhatsApp is provided by Meta. If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, Meta will also process that conversation under its own terms. You can call or text instead if you prefer not to use WhatsApp.
How long we keep it
Enquiry messages that do not lead to a booking are usually deleted within 12 months. Booking, invoice and payment records are kept for up to six years after the last job, which is the period we need for tax and accounting. You can ask us to delete information that we are not required to keep.
Cookies and this website
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. The server may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for security and to keep the site working. Those logs are not used to profile you.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- ask us to correct it if it is wrong
- ask us to delete it, in certain cases
- object to processing based on legitimate interests
- ask us to restrict how we use it
- ask for it to be transferred to you or another organisation, where the law allows
- withdraw consent, if we ever rely on consent for a specific use

This website is for adults arranging cleaning for a home, office or school. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
